9K to 129K on TikTok 🍋✨

Started the year off with 9K and ending with almost 130K and December is only beginning! 🥳 1 word. Consistency. I know you probably hear it all the time but it’s true. You literally just have to keep posting because you NEVER know when your content will do good. Once your content starts doing well do NOT stop. Just keep going wheter your engagement drops drastically suddenly or if a video goes viral but you get mad hate comments. F*** em! I plan on implementing the same consistency from TikTok on my YouTube channel although YouTube is going to be MUCH much more work… I know that with God, patience, consistency, and prayer I will be GREAT! Amen! #tiktok #tiktokgrowth #youtube #motivation #lemon z

It's a great question, and it's not always a straightforward answer, but I've learned a lot along the way. While follower count is a huge milestone, consistent views are what truly signify an engaged audience and can open up so many opportunities. For me, hitting that 129K follower mark meant a significant boost in potential reach. When you have a larger following, your videos naturally have a higher chance of being seen by more people right after you post. It's not a guarantee that every video will get 129K views – far from it! But a healthy follower base creates a strong foundation. I've found that with this many followers, my videos often start with a good baseline of views, which then helps TikTok's algorithm push them out to a wider 'For You Page' audience. It's like a snowball effect: more followers lead to more initial views, which can lead to even more organic reach if the content performs well. The 'consistency' I talked about in my main post isn't just for gaining followers; it's absolutely vital for maintaining and growing your views too. The algorithm loves creators who show up regularly. If you're consistently posting, TikTok learns your audience better and knows when to push your content. I've personally noticed that even if a video doesn't immediately go viral, my consistent posting schedule keeps my profile active and my existing followers engaged, which often translates to higher view counts over time across my content. But how do you really maximize those views once you have a decent following? Beyond just consistency, I've picked up a few extra tips that have helped me. First, understanding your analytics is crucial. Look at what videos perform best – what topics, what sounds, what lengths? Replicate that success! For instance, the OCR mentioned "Get more views with playlists" in relation to YouTube, and while TikTok doesn't have the same playlist feature, organizing your content into series or themes can achieve a similar effect, keeping viewers hooked for longer. I try to make sure my content has a clear theme or solves a particular problem, encouraging people to watch more from me. Another game-changer has been engaging with my community. Replying to comments, asking questions in my videos, and even going live periodically can drastically increase engagement, which signals to TikTok that my content is valuable. Higher engagement almost always leads to more views. Don't just post and ghost! Finally, don't be afraid to experiment with different formats and trends. TikTok is constantly evolving, and what works today might not work tomorrow. I'm always trying new hooks, audio, and video styles. Sometimes a video I thought wouldn't do well takes off, and vice versa. It's all part of the learning curve. For example, my journey on YouTube, which is a new challenge, also involves constant experimentation to see what resonates with a different audience. It’s about being present, adapting, and always striving to give your audience something they love, whether you have 9K or 129K followers.
