Zavion of Decephra — Ruler of Deception and Chaos
Zavion, ruler of Decephra—cruel, charming, and catastrophic by design.
A tyrant sculpted from brute force and masterful sorcery, he did not lead through devotion or honor. He ruled by inciting the wicked and enthralling the naïve, bending loyalty through fear, desire, and deception.
He surrounded himself with Shadow Fiends—creatures born from twisted sin—and a harem of ordinary women ensnared by his charm, unable to escape even as they endured his cruelty. They stayed not out of love, but because Zavion made them believe they had no life beyond him.
His dominion stretched far beyond Decephra. Zavion traversed worlds, sowing chaos and harvesting followers, drawn to corruption like flame to oil. Yet for all his power, one desire consumed him above all else:
An heir.
None of his temptresses could carry life to term. Each loss chipped away at his restraint—until the most recent birth ended in stillness. The child was born dead.
That night, Zavion’s grief rotted into rage.
Desperate and defiant, he turned to necromancy, a forbidden art known to exact a merciless toll. He ordered the exhumation of the child’s body and performed the ritual himself, ignoring every warning etched into ancient spellwork.
The spell succeeded.
The child—Orrick—was reborn.
But necromancy never gives without taking.
Zavion’s hand was permanently scarred by the spell, flesh warped and burned by the magic that tore life from death. Orrick returned without intellect—no thought, no innocence—only muscle, instinct, and devastating brute force. A living weapon. A consequence made flesh.
Still, it was not enough.
Zavion commanded a select group of Shadow Fiends to scour the worlds for a woman worthy of bearing his heir—one strong enough to survive him. Of the eight known planets, their sights settled on Saphyven, a realm famed for its spiritually gifted people.
She would be perfect.
He vowed—silently—that this time he would protect her from his own wrath. This time, no harm would come to his future Queen.Four were sent first.
Months passed. No word returned.
Impatient and enraged, Zavion prepared for war—unaware that on Saphyven, the woman being watched was far colder than his emissaries anticipated.
The Shadow Fiends observed her for nearly a year. She was sharp. Ruthless. Unyielding.
If anything, she was more dangerous than their ruler.
They believed her a perfect match for Zavion.
They never suspected she had her own agenda.
When they finally approached, she agreed to meet their king—on one condition:
She would return within three days. And so the path to Decephra was opened. Not by conquest.
But by choice
