These creatures are known as Shadowfiens, living extensions of Zavion’s will. Their transformation occurs when they surrender to sin over repentance, the more their humanity is consumed the greater their corruption.
Stage One: The Bound Soul

* Physically identical to their former self.
* Eyes develop a faint ember glow, revealing Zavion’s influence.

* Enhanced endurance.
* Their personality remains, but their morality is suppressed.
Weakness
* This is the only stage where salvation is most achievable. Shawdow core is faint but intial bond starts. removal means redemption
* Through self repentance, or a powerful act of free will, the person can break Zavion’s hold.

* Flesh starts to rot and peel away.
* mutation starts their bodies may grow larger, taller, and more monstrous.

* Stronger connection to Zavion’s hive mind.
* Pain resistance.
Weakness
* Redemption is still possible, but it requires immense spiritual intervention and the creature’s remaining humanity to fight back.
