Post-Manuscript, Pre-Launch Adventures ✈️✨
After turning in the final manuscript for my first book, Thrive and SHINE, I did the only logical thing:
booked a flight to London (hello, spring blooms) and then onto the Amalfi Coast (hello, pasta and spritzes).
For two weeks, I didn’t open my laptop once — and honestly, it was the best gift I could have given myself after such a big milestone.
Now that I’m back (jet lag fading, coffee flowing), the book launch feels real.
It’s happening. And I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.
More soon. Thanks for being part of the journey. 💛

There’s a unique mixture of exhaustion and exhilaration that washes over you the moment you hit 'send' on a completed manuscript. After pouring your heart and soul into every word, every chapter, the finality of it can be almost overwhelming. For me, that moment came with Thrive and SHINE. It’s not just about finishing a project; it’s about acknowledging the immense effort. Taking a complete mental break became essential. My personal approach to a well-deserved break involved stepping entirely away from the screen and immersing myself in new experiences. It's truly vital for anyone navigating a significant project, whether it's authoring a book or a demanding career milestone, to recognize when to reset. That’s why London called to me first. The vibrant energy, the historical sights, and the beautiful spring blooms were exactly what I needed. Wandering through bustling markets, exploring iconic landmarks, and simply soaking in the atmosphere was incredibly restorative. From there, the allure of the Amalfi Coast was irresistible. Imagine savoring fresh pasta by the sea, sipping refreshing spritzes, and soaking up the sun in picturesque towns like Capri. It was a dream come true, a complete reset for body and mind. For two blissful weeks, my laptop stayed firmly shut. This wasn't just a vacation; it was an investment in my well-being, a crucial step to recharge before diving into the next big phase: the book launch. It reminded me that to truly Ignite Your Career Journey, you need to recognize when to push hard and when to pull back and replenish your creative reserves. This post-manuscript escape gave me invaluable perspective and renewed energy. Coming back, the jet lag slowly fading, there's a renewed sense of focus and excitement. The launch of Thrive and SHINE feels incredibly real now, and I’m energized to share this new chapter. For anyone working on a big personal or professional goal, remember the importance of celebrating milestones and taking time for yourself. It’s not a luxury; it’s a necessity for sustained creativity and passion. I can’t wait to connect with you all as we embark on this exciting journey together.
