A Simple Self-Care Dinner Ritual
Today’s self-care ritual looked like this.
Pork loin, crispy tostones, and a fresh salad with avocado, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lemon, and olive oil.
After a long day, cooking helps me slow down mentally.
When we cook, our brain focuses on sensory details like smell, texture, and taste. That shift in attention can help regulate stress and calm the nervous system.
Mental wellness isn’t always meditation or therapy.
Sometimes it’s simply nourishing yourself and creating a quiet moment in your day.
Small rituals matter.
