Oh, where does the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was bringing home this tiny furry bundle, my sweet Cooper. Looking back at his baby pictures, it's truly astounding how much he's changed. I remember those first few weeks, he truly was 'just a baby, not knowing anything,' exploring the world with wide, curious eyes. Every morning was an adventure, watching him try to figure things out, sometimes looking up at me as if to ask, 'Am I doing it right?' It’s so funny now to think about him as that little puppy, often 'a tired boy' after just a few minutes of play, curled up in the most adorable sleeping positions. My other dog, Cora, took her sweet time growing into her full size, but Cooper? He was on a fast track! One day he was small enough to fit in my lap with plenty of room, and the next, he was stretching out, paws almost bigger than his head. It’s wild to think he’s already a bit bigger than Cora now. It really shows how every pet, just like every person, has their own unique growth journey. Those puppy days, when Cooper was truly 'a baby,' were filled with so much joy and a fair share of adorable mischief. From his first clumsy steps to his attempts at barking, every moment was a treasure. I loved watching him discover new smells in the yard, chase after toys with boundless energy, and then crash into a deep sleep, completely worn out. There’s something so pure about a puppy’s innocence, that feeling of knowing you're raising 'a lifelong friend.'
