Coopey

Cooper James was so excited to do a solo walk this morning at 6am !

What time do you bring your pet for a walk?

Cooper and I got up extra early to do a solo walk to Crandall park/pond.

He was so excited to see the ducks , he wanted to chase them but mom wouldn't let him ): lol

He was barking at everyone who walked by ... we're working on it !

... Read moreWalking your dog early in the morning can be a rewarding experience for both you and your pet. Many dogs, like Cooper, are full of energy in the morning and enjoy exploring the neighborhood or local parks. It's the perfect time to observe nature, interact with other pet owners, and even train your dog to socialize better. When you take an early walk, your dog can meet other early risers without the hustle and bustle of the day. This not only helps in reducing their excitement around other dogs and people but also teaches them proper behavior. Keep treats handy to reinforce good behavior and to reward your dog for listening to commands, especially when they get excited about chasing ducks or barking at passersby. To enhance the walking experience, consider varying your routes. Different environments stimulate your dog’s senses, making walks more enjoyable. Additionally, bringing along some water for hydration can be important, especially during warmer months. Remember, the key to a successful dog walk is patience and consistency.
