Feed Stevie Breakfast with Me!
Now that Stevie is 12 weeks old and showed us signs of still being hungry after her meals with 3/4 of a can, we decided to start feeding her a full can at each of her two wet food feedings! This is in line with research I had been doing about and also puts her k/cal intake right where it should be for 12 weeks!
For breakfast today, Stevie had half a can of Fancy Feast Kitten Salmon Pâté mixed with half a can of Tiki Cat Baby Chicken, Salmon, and Chicken Liver Pâté. Not pictured is the Vital Essential Freeze Dried Salmon Bites that I added on top as a treat before she has to go to the vet for her check up later today.

Feeding kittens requires careful attention to their nutritional needs, especially in their early stages of growth. At 12 weeks, kittens like Stevie require a balanced diet rich in protein, fats, and essential vitamins. It's best to choose high-quality wet food such as Fancy Feast Kitten Salmon Pâté, which is specifically formulated for young cats. Mixing it with other premium foods like Tiki Cat Baby Chicken and Salmon introduces variety and additional nutrients. Moreover, consider adding healthy treats like Vital Essential Freeze Dried Salmon Bites, which can enhance flavor and provide extra protein. Ensuring that your kitten receives a full can per feeding, especially after displaying signs of hunger, is crucial for her development. Keep in mind that regular vet check-ups are vital to monitor your kitten’s growth and health, allowing you to adjust her diet as needed.
