Under $110
Hi everyone, being a #FTM has its rewards and drawbacks. I work from home and I notice how eating out has but a serious dent into my pockets. I said, ohh no. I need to head back to Trader Joe’s to help me curve my outdoor spending daily. Also, the customer service is stellar, team are always there to help navigate the aisles. So here are some items that I purchased that are #glutenfree and guarantee better choices while home. Please note, this doesn’t supplement the bulk shopping I do at #costco or #bjs . Having variety allow me to binge less and reduce time to make poor decision with fast food eating. I even treated myself to beautiful flowers, no that isn’t apart of my diet but self-care.😊Trader Joe's
Okay, so I have to talk about the star of my latest Trader Joe's haul: their gluten-free tagliatelle pasta made with corn and rice flour! Seriously, if you're looking for a delicious, hearty pasta option that's also gluten-free, you absolutely need to try this. I know how hard it can be to find GF pasta that doesn't fall apart or taste like cardboard, but this one is a game-changer. It holds its shape beautifully, and the texture is surprisingly close to traditional pasta. I paired it with their Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce from the haul, and it was a weeknight dinner dream – super quick and satisfying. Finding good gluten-free options at an affordable price has been a huge help for me, especially now that I'm trying to cook more at home to avoid those expensive takeout meals. Trader Joe's just makes it so easy. Beyond the tagliatelle, I picked up some gluten-free plain bagels for quick breakfasts, and let me tell you, they toast up wonderfully! And for something a bit more adventurous, their vegan gluten-free Japchae Korean sweet potato glass noodles are an absolute treat; they make for a fantastic side dish or a light lunch. I’ve also been experimenting with their other GF items to keep things exciting. Their Brazilian style cheese bread (Pão de Queijo!) made with tapioca flour and parmesan is incredible – perfect for a snack or with soup. And for those nights when I want something quick but still wholesome, the gluten-free Chicken Tikka Masala is a lifesaver. It tastes homemade without all the effort. I even grabbed some gluten-free Plant-Battered Fish Fillets which are surprisingly crispy and a good source of protein. It's not just about the specific meals, but also about having versatile staples. The gluten-free egg fettuccine pasta is another excellent choice for different sauces, and their gluten-free Cornbread Mix is fantastic for a comfort food side. And for a sweet treat that fits the bill? Those gluten-free strawberry muffins are perfect with a cup of coffee. What I love is that I can fill my cart with all these delicious and diverse gluten-free products, and it still keeps my grocery bill under $110. It really helps me stick to my budget while still enjoying satisfying meals at home. It’s all about making smart choices that curb outdoor spending and keep things fresh so you don't get bored and resort to unhealthy fast food. Plus, getting a little something like those beautiful flowers from my haul just adds a nice touch to the self-care routine, reminding me that healthy living can be enjoyable and affordable!
