Let’s Play Festival เป็นเทศกาลที่ตอบโจทย์การพัฒนาเด็กในยุคนี้อย่างแท้จริง เพราะนอกจากจะเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กได้เล่นอย่างอิสระแล้ว ยังส่งเสริมสมองส่วนหน้า (PFC) ซึ่งเป็นส่วนที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการคิดวางแผน การควบคุมอารมณ์ และการปรับตัวให้ยืดหยุ่น ในงานนี้เด็กจะได้เรียนรู้ผ่านการสัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงแบบไม่มีกฎเกณฑ์หรือคำสั่งจากผู้ใหญ่ ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจและความคิดสร้างสรรค์อย่างแท้จริง พื้นที่ปลอดภัยกลางแจ้ง พร้อมอุปกรณ์เกมแบบ Loose Parts ที่ยืดหยุ่นและเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กสามารถนำวัสดุต่าง ๆ มาสร้างสรรค์เกมของตัวเอง เพราะการ “เล่นสกปรก” หรือ “เล่นอย่างจริงจัง” นั้นช่วยกระตุ้นพัฒนาการทั้งร่างกายและสมอง นอกจากนี้กิจกรรมปีนป่าย กระโดด ลุยน้ำ และการทดลองต่าง ๆ ยังช่วยฝึกพัฒนากล้ามเนื้อมัดใหญ่และมัดเล็ก รวมถึงกระตุ้นการทำงานร่วมกันของประสาทสัมผัสหลายด้านด้วย สำหรับผู้ปกครอง การเตรียมตัวสำคัญคือให้ลูกใส่เสื้อผ้าที่พร้อมเลอะและเปียกน้ำได้ พร้อมผ้าเช็ดตัว น้ำดื่ม และใจที่พร้อมมอบอิสระเพื่อให้เด็กได้เล่นและเรียนรู้เต็มที่ การเล่นในรูปแบบนี้เป็นพื้นฐานที่สำคัญของการพัฒนาทักษะทาง Executive Functions (EF) ที่ช่วยให้เด็กมีความคิดริเริ่ม กล้าเผชิญปัญหา และมีความสามารถในการแก้ไขสถานการณ์อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ด้วยจุดเด่นของ Let’s Play Festival ที่ผสมผสานการเล่นแบบ Loose Parts ซึ่งเราค้นพบว่าการใช้วัสดุและอุปกรณ์ที่เปิดโอกาสให้น้อง ๆ รวมทั้งเด็กโต (8 ปีขึ้นไป) ได้ลองผิดลองถูกและคิดยืดหยุ่น จะช่วยสร้างความแข็งแรงทางจิตใจและสมองส่วนหน้าได้ดีที่สุด งานเทศกาลนี้จึงกลายเป็นสนามฝึกสมองของเด็ก ๆ ที่พ่อแม่ห้ามพลาดในแต่ละปี
