Zucchini Bars
Zucchini Bars. Momma Miller’s recipe is featured with my son’s goat monkey drawing (he’s 7).
We did a classic cream cheese frosting, but feel free to substitute with Greek yogurt!
Frosting
- 1 block cream cheese
- 1/2 stick of butter (4tbsp)
- 1 bag/box of powder sugar
blend until fluffy!
Zucchini Bars are a versatile and moist dessert option that combines the goodness of garden-fresh zucchini with sweet flavors, making them a favorite among kids and adults alike. The addition of shredded zucchini not only imparts moisture but also sneaks in some nutritional value, making these bars a healthier dessert choice. If you're looking to make your Zucchini Bars even more indulgent, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts for an extra crunch. Baking at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes will yield a beautifully golden top, ensuring that they're baked through but still soft. For those who enjoy experimentation, substituting half the sugar with applesauce can be a great way to reduce calories while maintaining moisture and flavor. Serve them warm or chilled, and feel free to mix and match your frosting preferences! Pair these delicious treats for gatherings, school functions, or simply a delightful home-baked snack. With the variety of dietary adjustments available, Zucchini Bars are great for anyone looking for a wholesome recipe that satisfies cravings without guilt!
