... Read moreBuilding my LEGO collection has been an absolute passion, and I'm so thrilled to share the third installment with you all! It's more than just snapping bricks together; it's about creating stories, reliving memories, and showcasing pieces that truly resonate with me. As an AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), finding those special sets that spark joy is what it's all about. Let's dive into some of my current favorites featured in this collection update! First up, the adorable Stitch #43249 set. Seriously, how cute is he with his little ice cream cone? This build was such a delight – compact, vibrant, and perfectly captures Stitch's playful character. He's currently chilling on my bookshelf, bringing a little bit of Hawaiian sunshine indoors. If you're looking for a relatively quick and utterly charming build, Stitch is a fantastic choice. Next, we journey to Halloween Town with the incredible Nightmare Before Christmas #21351 set. Oh my goodness, this one is a masterpiece! The details are just phenomenal, from Jack Skellington's house to the spooky graveyard. Building this felt like stepping right into the movie. It’s definitely one of those display pieces that draws everyone’s eye. The intricate design and the way it brings such a beloved movie to life make it a standout in my collection. It took a bit longer to assemble, but every single minute was worth it for the stunning result. Then we have my beloved Dobby the House-Elf #76421. As a huge Harry Potter fan, Dobby holds a special place in my heart, and this LEGO rendition does him justice. The build itself was surprisingly detailed, especially his expressive face and those big, kind eyes. He comes with some lovely accessories too, like the cake and Tom Riddle's diary. He's currently guarding my Harry Potter book collection, looking as loyal as ever. If you're a Potterhead, this set is an absolute must-have. And for something completely different, feast your eyes on the elegant Typewriter #21327. This set is pure genius! The functionality of the keys and the moving carriage truly blew me away during the build. It’s a nostalgic piece that brings a touch of vintage charm to my desk. It wasn’t just a build; it was an experience, showing off the incredible engineering LEGO is capable of. It’s a conversation starter and a testament to how diverse LEGO sets can be. Collecting LEGO isn't just about buying sets; it's about the hunt, the build, and the joy of seeing your collection grow. For fellow AFOLs or anyone thinking of starting, my advice is to pick themes you're truly passionate about. Don't feel pressured to get every new release; focus on what brings you joy. Whether it's intricate display pieces like the Nightmare Before Christmas set or whimsical characters like Stitch, there's a LEGO set out there for everyone. Share your own favorite builds with me – I'd love to see what you're collecting!
