🍋My favorite Childhood reads ✨

These kinds of books started my love of reading and I still read them today when I need some comfort.

I feel like these books really taught my generation about life, love and loss. About different struggles that occur in the world, and how to better view it.

I wish they still read books like this.

... Read moreChildhood books often provide essential life lessons that resonate throughout one's life. Many readers cherish works such as 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane' by Kate DiCamillo, which beautifully depicts themes of love and loss, as well as 'Number the Stars' by Lois Lowry, a poignant narrative about bravery during challenging times. Similarly, 'Among the Hidden' by Margaret Peterson Haddix introduces critical discussions about societal rules through a gripping tale of survival. These novels not only entertain but also encourage young readers to engage with difficult subjects in an age-appropriate manner. In our increasingly digital world, revisiting these literary treasures reminds us of the power of stories to shape our perspectives and enhance empathy. If you’re looking for a comforting escape, consider diving back into these timeless classics and share your experiences with fellow book lovers. Reflecting on how these books impacted your childhood can open up heartwarming discussions. What are the lessons you took away from your favorite childhood reads? Let's reminisce together!
