I HATE my self…………

For tolerating things I knew were not good for my spiritual and mental health.

For shrinking just to fit in or keep the peace, knowing I was the one slowly dying on the inside.

For auditioning for a love that was never meant for me.

For chasing.

For allowing others to determine my worth.

For not speaking up when it mattered but most importantly for ignoring the red flags…. 🚩 🚩

But I love her because without her I wouldn’t be the women I am today….. 💕🥰☺️✨

I remember times when I ignored the signs that something wasn’t right, convincing myself it was for peace or love. However, those moments took a toll on my mental and spiritual health, much like what is described here. What really helped me was recognizing the importance of self-love and setting boundaries with others. It was not an overnight change but a gradual process of learning to say no when my instincts flagged red, and forgiving myself for past mistakes. I found that journaling my thoughts and emotions allowed me to face the pain instead of burying it, which was a pivotal step toward healing. Another significant breakthrough was surrounding myself with people who uplifted me rather than those who made me question my worth. Knowing your worth isn’t just about confidence; it’s about protection and respect—for yourself and from others. This journey is deeply personal and ongoing, but embracing vulnerability and acknowledging those moments of self-doubt can be empowering. If you’re struggling with similar feelings, remember that you’re not alone. Taking small steps to prioritize your well-being and listen to your inner voice can transform pain into self-love. It’s okay to love yourself even with all your scars because they show strength and growth.
