diy drop cloth curtains🎀

I hated the price point for brand new linen curtains so I decided to make my own linen looking curtains with drop cloths 🖼️

to make these you will need:

6x9 drop cloth (one makes 4 panels for two of my windows but will all depend on the size of your window and what you want them to look like)

curtain clips

I had sewn my edges together but could be other alternatives ✨

*bleach is also optional to lighten the color

•to start I recommend wash your drop cloth to soften them up a bit

•after washing and drying I measured to the window and for mine I was able to evenly cut it into quarters to make 4 panels

•for each quarter I folded over the edges and sewn a straight stitch all around the edges to make it look clean and prevent fraying when washing

•once the sewing is complete you can chose to fold and have a drape added to your curtains and then you just clip the curtain clips to the top and add it to a curtain rod and now you have beautiful curtains for a fraction of the price💌

cost breakdown:

single pack of drop cloths: $11.97 (making each panel for my windows around 3 dollars)

42 pack of curtain clips: $11.38 (I used 9 per panel)
