If streaming is something you’re passionate about, try your hardest not to let numbers get you down.
✨ You can see where my growth plateaued and I started to lose my spark. I took many breaks from streaming in the moments where it started to feel like a chore. Harping on numbers can cause burnout and can truly break your career.
✨ However, overcoming it was so empowering. I found my passion again and, without that burnout, I wouldn’t have found new ways to connect with my community.

During my Twitch journey from 2021 to 2024, I experienced significant growth and challenges. In 2021, I started strong with 672 followers and 2.5K hours watched, but I faced moments of burnout that hindered my progress. Recognizing this, I took breaks and re-evaluated my approach to streaming. By 2022, my stats improved with 707 new followers and 7.7K total hours watched, but I still struggled to maintain consistent engagement. It wasn't until 2023, where the community began to thrive, that I adapted my strategies. I introduced multistreaming and interactive channel point redemptions, which resonated well with my audience, leading to 1.4K hours watched. As of 2024, I am excited about my continued journey with 540 new followers and 4.6K hours streamed thus far. These trends showcase the importance of adapting to audience needs and taking care of one’s mental health while streaming. My strategies like community engagement through Discord and merchandise giveaways have contributed tremendously to my growth. Reflecting on these years, I feel empowered every step of the way.
