Part 2 of 2 This message does get pretty emotional. Imagine speaking from your heart and being received by over 2 million women from across the world. For me, this was pressure. I just couldn’t wrap my brain around the fact that so many women were saying my name. For the record… I am incredibly grateful for the recognition for starting the club. I have NEVER asked anyone to say Melani when speaking on WDNC. It just happened. As time has passed, I sort of think it was God’s way of saying “Melani you cannot run.” Today marks a little over 10 weeks since the inception of WDNC. Everyday I feel more empowered. Watching my Sisters create Chapters and put the world on notice that we simply Do Not Care much anymore makes my heart smile. Look at all of the positivity and love shared. Me and my Sisters are at capacity. We are tired. We have found a place where there is NO division or judgement. Everyone is accepted and loved regardless of race, religion, bank balance or brand of pocketbook you carry. The only requirement is you must have a She Shed😎😂 I love yall more than you could EVER imagine. This is only the beginning. #wdnc #perimenopause #menopause #justbeingmelani #wedonotcareclub

... Read moreThe We Do Not Care Club (WDNC) has rapidly become more than just a community—it stands as a powerful movement that embraces women in every stage of life, especially those experiencing perimenopause and menopause. This inclusive sisterhood encourages authenticity and self-acceptance, breaking down traditional stigmas associated with aging and women's health. At its core, WDNC fosters a judgement-free environment where race, religion, financial status, or material possessions are irrelevant. The only shared bond is a genuine space—often humorously referred to as a "She Shed"—where women can be themselves, express their emotions freely, and find support from like-minded sisters. This collective empowerment is vital, as many women face social pressures during midlife transitions. By providing a platform for open conversations about menopause and perimenopause, WDNC helps normalize these experiences, offering comfort and resources for navigating physical and emotional changes. Its grassroots growth highlights how authenticity resonates deeply, turning a simple idea into a global wave of positivity. The club's founder’s emotional message underscores the heartfelt connection within this sisterhood. The organic rise of recognition and the overwhelming support reveal a broader societal hunger for communities that uplift and validate women’s journeys. As WDNC chapters emerge worldwide, they are a testament to the power of unity, resilience, and collective care. For anyone seeking a supportive, uplifting community centered on women’s health and empowerment, WDNC represents a beacon of hope and a call to embrace one's authentic self without apology. This movement is only the beginning, promising continued growth and deeper connections for women everywhere.
