Why My First Sprout Meant So Much to Me
When I first pressed tiny seeds into the soil, I wasn’t sure what would come of it. Some of my flower seeds, like marigolds, never made it. Others like zinnias and black-eyed Susans are now blooming under the sun. Each one has its own little story.
But the moment I saw my very first sprout peek through the soil, it felt like more than just a plant growing.
That sprout represented patience, care, and a reminder that life unfolds quietly, even when we can’t see it happening. Every day I checked the soil, waiting, wondering, and then suddenly green little sprouts come out.
Now, my cherry tomatoes, kale, lettuce, and even a second batch of marigolds are sprouting together, filling me with so much gratitude. This tiny garden isn’t just about vegetables and flowers. It’s about slowing down, learning to nurture, and celebrating small victories along the way.🪴🥰

Okay, this is kinda cute. I might try gardening, but knowing me, I'd probably kill everything.
