Minimal Cleaning Kit: You Only Need 6 Products
I like to use products that are multi-purpose. This year, I’ve learned more cleaning hacks on Lemon 8 and I pay more attention to use less chemicals for cleaning.
I also like to keep things minimal. I can use these 6 products to clean the entire home including outdoor furniture, grill and concrete stains. If you don’t want too many products, these products can be good options:
1️⃣Fabuloso. I use it mainly for cleaning floor. I also see people dilute with water to clean countertops or tables.
2️⃣White vinegar. It can be used for cleaning glass and mirror, descaling espresso machine, doing laundry (softener), deodorizing refrigerator, etc.
3️⃣Baking soda. It’s eco-friendly, non toxic cleaner. I use it as an abrasive paste, a deodorizer and a laundry booster.
4️⃣All Purpose cleaner. You can get any all purpose cleaner that you like. It’s a super convenient cleaner and can clean a lot of things.
5️⃣Dish soap. Everyone has dish soap and it’s also a multipurpose cleaner. Clean dishes, stove top, kitchen appliances, pretreat laundry stains, shoes, outdoor furniture, etc.
6️⃣Bar Keepers Friend. The main ingredient oxalic acid and it’s very powerful cleaner. I like to use it to clean my stainless steel pans and pots. It also cleans so many things like exteriors of stainless steel appliances( refrigerator, oven and dishwasher), stovetops, bathroom soap scum, tile, grout, and so on.
