Everyday Home Lessons I Learned From My Mom

It was annoying when I was a little kid that my mom required us to take off shoes at the door right away and always needed to put things back after we used. We had to fold our blankets everyday.

But now, after I have my own little family and house. These are the best lessons to save myself time to clean, to have a tidy and welcome home. It’s funny that how the “annoying” habits ended up great!

1. Put things back right after you use them.

2. Shoes off at the door (or switch to slippers).

3. Make bed even if stay at home all day.

4. Don’t go to bed with a messy kitchen.

5. Open the windows every morning.

6. Light a candle or boil some herbal tea when the house feels dull.

7. Cook something simple but from scratch.
