By June, it’s amazing to see how much progress can be made toward using up products that might otherwise go unused. The concept of "empties"—finishing entire products—helps me avoid clutter and save money by being intentional with what I buy and use. Tracking empties at the end of each month, like this June update, gives a clear snapshot of accomplishments and motivates me to keep going. I also find that participating in challenges like #projectpanning and #projectpan2026 builds a community of support and inspiration. One key tip I’ve learned is to set realistic goals based on what products I love and use regularly. Trying to pan items I dislike results in quick burnout. Also, decluttering expired or disliked items at the start helps me focus on what truly matters. Finally, documenting progress visually and journaling reflections helps me appreciate small victories. This practice encourages not only using up products but also evaluating my relationship with beauty and self-care. It’s not just about the empties, but about creating mindful habits and reducing waste while enjoying my favorite products responsibly.
