จากประสบการณ์และเรื่องที่ได้ยินมา การที่พาสปอร์ตไทยถูกเพ่งเล็งเวลาท่องเที่ยวต่างประเทศไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่เลยครับ ผมเองก็เคยเจอเหตุการณ์ถูกสอบถามเข้มข้นตั้งแต่ก้าวแรกที่สนามบิน มันสร้างความกังวลให้เราได้ไม่น้อยเลย สาเหตุหลักๆ ที่หลายประเทศทำเข้มข้น คงหนีไม่พ้นเรื่องของแรงงานผิดกฎหมายหรือคนที่อยู่ต่อเกินกำหนดเวลาวีซ่า เช่น ที่เกาหลีใต้และญี่ปุ่น มีข่าวออกมาบ่อยว่าคนบางกลุ่มใช้วีซ่านักท่องเที่ยวทำงานเถื่อน ซึ่งย่อมทำให้เจ้าหน้าที่ต้องเพิ่มความเข้มงวดกับคนไทยเพื่อคัดกรอง นอกจากนี้ ภาพลักษณ์ของไทยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเป็นทางผ่านของยาเสพติดก็มักถูกนำมาเป็นเหตุผลในการตรวจสอบเข้มข้นแม้จะไม่มีหลักฐานอะไรที่ชี้ชัดกับเราโดยตรงก็ตาม ทำให้คนไทยหลายคนถูกระมัดระวังมากขึ้นจากเจ้าหน้าที่ซึ่งบางครั้งก็อาจดูเหมือนการเหมารวมเกินไป สำหรับคนที่เดินทางบ่อย ผมแนะนำว่าเวลาสัมภาษณ์กับเจ้าหน้าที่ควรเตรียมเอกสารพร้อมตอบคำถามเกี่ยวกับแผนการเดินทาง เหตุผลการไปท่องเที่ยว ที่พัก และแสดงเจตนาที่ชัดเจนว่ามาเที่ยวเท่านั้น เพื่อช่วยเสริมความน่าเชื่อถือและลดความกังวลของเจ้าหน้าที่ และสุดท้าย แม้ว่าการถูกตรวจสอบจะสร้างความเหนื่อยใจ แต่เราควรมองว่ามันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยและการควบคุมคนเข้าเมืองของประเทศนั้นๆ การเตรียมตัวให้พร้อมและแสดงความสุภาพ จะช่วยทำให้ประสบการณ์การเดินทางของเราราบรื่นขึ้นครับ ถ้าคุณเคยมีประสบการณ์ได้รับการตรวจเข้มอย่างผิดหวังหรือมีข้อแนะนำดีๆ ก็อย่าลังเลที่จะแบ่งปัน เพื่อช่วยให้คนไทยเดินทางไปต่างประเทศอย่างมั่นใจและปลอดภัยขึ้นครับ
