BANANA BREAD
I had a cranky baby (2 months old) last night and couldn’t sleep. So I strapped the babes up in her baby wrap and we made some yummy banana bread!! 🍌
Make it with me!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups of Ripe Bananas (I ended up using I think 4-5 bananas) Mashed Up
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Melted Butter (1 stick)
2 Large Eggs
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt (I didn’t have this so i substitute sour cream)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
3/4 Cup of Chocolate Chips (but I say measure with your heart on the chocolate)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
2. Oil your bread pans. This recipe made two loaves for me.
3. In a large bowl whisk together your flour, baking soda & salt.
4. In a small bowl mix together your melted butter and your sugars until smooth. Add in your mashed bananas, eggs, sour cream & vanilla extract.
5. Combine your flour mixture with your banana mixture
6. Add in your chocolate chips.
7. Pour your batter into your loaf pans.
8. I like to be ✨fancy✨ and add some chocolate chips to the top before baking.
9. Bakes for around an hour or until you can poke with a tooth pick and it comes out clean.
10. Slice up and serve with some butter.
Enjoy!!
