These books right here have put me through the wringer emotionally and I’ve always read them when I needed the emotions when I read these. These are the romance 💘 books that 1. My auto buy authors 2. I always recommend to others when they ask what books 📚 they should read or need to read and 3. lastly, these book covers are special edition covers that I bought from book boxes and not likely aren’t available anymore. I’ve included the tropes on each picture.
1. A Love Letter To Whiskey 🥃 by Kandi Steiner
GAHHH!! The amount of angst this book gives and emotional rollercoaster 🎢 This book is the definition of right person, wrong timing ⏱️ + friends to lovers
2. One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
What if you married your high school sweetheart and your first year wedding anniversary and he’s then pronounced dead? Years later, you fall in love again and get a second chance at happiness. Guess who’s been found alive all these years? My, my, my what a dilemma
3. Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan
(Please check trigger warnings for this book/series for your mental health + grab tissues)
I WILL ALWAYS recommend Kennedy Ryan! You can argue with your mother and grandmother okay? Mrs. Ryan never misses and she is going to make you work for the romance 💘 in her books 📚 and it’s going to well worth it. The MMC will become your new book husbands.
4. Reel 🎥 by Kennedy Ryan
The audiobook is otherworldly and feels like a movie experience. I definitely say try to listen to the audio if your library has it!
5. Love & Other Words by Christina Lauren
I could scream to the sky about this book and the amount of quotes and this tiny paragraph will not do justice to how much I love this book, but just read it!! *sigh* If your love language is words of affirmation, I promise you will fold like chair 🪑 (you’re welcome hehe)
