๐ธ๐ฌThis Lamb Hotpot Was Worth the Calories ๐
Pre-work fuel before going back to reality ๐ผ๐
Stopped by Jewel to try the CNY special โ
Braised Lamb with Glass Noodles ๐โจ
And it was SO good.
The lamb was tender, soft, and not gamey at all.
The glass noodles soaked up all the rich broth โ super comforting.
We also ordered Stir-fried Pork with Chili and Abalone ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฆช
Because itโs CNY, they added imported Fujian abalone, so it felt a little extra special.
Total damage: about $30+ per person ๐ธ
Heheโฆ but before going back to work,
we deserve one good meal to recharge, right?
Eat well first.
Then we go back and hustle harder ๐ชโจ

If you're curious about adding more variety to your Chinese New Year dining experience, I highly recommend exploring dishes like mixed vegetable rice from local favorites such as Po Po Mixed Veg Rice. Their homestyle flavors offer a hearty and wholesome complement to richer options like lamb hotpot. Also, for those who enjoy cooking and want tools with reliable performance, checking out kitchen essentials like the WMF Ultimate Profi Resist cookware can make a big difference. The cookware is praised for durability and even heat distribution, which is great for preparing dishes that require slow braising or stir-frying similar to what youโd find in Singaporean restaurants. Having tried both the lamb hotpot and these other fare, I find it rewarding to mix comfort food with everyday meals to keep dining exciting and practical. Whether at home or dining out in spots like Jewel, blending traditional and specialty dishes adds layers to your palate and keeps every meal memorable. Next visit, Iโm definitely looking forward to more seasonal specials and exploring deeper tastes around Singaporeโs vibrant food scene!
