I finally finished The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, and I can definitely see why it’s considered a Christian classic.
The book offers so much incredible insight into the daily spiritual battle we face as believers. Reading the perspective of temptation and spiritual warfare was thought-provoking and challenged me to reflect on my own walk with Christ.
My only struggle was the writing style. Since it was written many years ago, I found the language difficult to follow at times. I honestly wish it had been written in a more modern style because I think I would have understood it even more.
Overall, I’m giving it ⭐⭐⭐☆☆. It was a good read with valuable lessons, and I’m looking forward to reading more of C.S. Lewis’s books.

This approach helped me unpack complex ideas and connect them to contemporary life. Lastly, while I would have preferred a more modern writing style, the core messages of The Screwtape Letters remain profoundly impactful. It’s a book that challenges, encourages, and offers timeless lessons on spiritual resilience — definitely worth exploring for anyone interested in Christian literature or self-reflection on faith.
