Reading Log Week 2✨🎄

I did a cute Christmas Lights theme this week and I’m really proud how this turned out! I didn’t really like how I sectioned off week one so I had a sit down with myself to see what I r e a l l y wanted to track this year. So for now, I’ve come down to the following things I definitely want to track:

✨Devotional Time

✨Books Started

✨Books Completed

✨Total Pages Read

✨Memorable Quotes/Passages

✨DNF

I’m sure this will change but I think these are the most important for me. On the Left side I track the name of the devotional I did that day and then the books I read and the number of pages for each book. What are you tracking for the new year? And Have you all decided on your reading goals? I’m not sure If i’m going to do one this year. We’ll see!

This reading log with a festive Christmas Lights theme not only adds a bit of holiday cheer but also provides a comprehensive way to track various aspects of your reading journey. One of the key components to track is devotional time. This is especially valuable for readers who include spiritual or reflective books in their reading list, allowing them to note down daily inspirations and personal growth moments. Additionally, logging books started versus books completed helps readers monitor their commitment and progress. Sometimes, certain books just don’t click, so tracking DNF (Did Not Finish) can help in understanding reading preferences better. Total pages read is an essential metric for setting and achieving reading goals. It provides measurable milestones that can keep motivation high throughout the year. Memorable quotes or passages add a layer of personal connection, allowing readers to revisit powerful words that resonated with them. If you’re creating your own reading log this year, consider which elements matter most to you and tailor your log accordingly. Whether it’s for accountability, reflection, or sheer enjoyment, a well-structured reading log can transform your reading experience. Hashtags like #holidayreading, #readingjournal, #hobonichiweeks, and #blackgirljournal not only help you connect with like-minded readers but also offer inspiration and community support. Finally, don’t hesitate to revisit and revise your reading log setup as your preferences evolve. The goal is to have a system that truly supports your reading habits and encourages a lifelong love of books.
