Cheesy, gooey, and juicy sliders that come together with a few ingredients. This is my absolute favorite go to dinner recipe! It comes together so quickly on a busy weeknight and is absolutely delicious, your family will love them. Make sure to give this recipe a try!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds 90/10 lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium white onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Sazon (optional)
- 1/4 cup mayo (any is fine, I used kewpie)
- 24 pack of Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls
- 1 cup of favorite shredded cheese (get creative, I used a taco cheese blend)
- 8 to 10 slices of Cheddar or American cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 - 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a hot pan, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Add onions and cook until translucent.
2. Season with salt, garlic powder, pepper, sazon, and mix. Cook for 5 more mins and turn off the heat.
3. Next, add the mayo into the hot mixture and mix well. My secret is to cover the mixture and set it aside for a few minutes.
4. Cut rolls in half and spread your meat mixture on the bottom side. Add all the shredded cheese and slices. Close with the top buns.
5. Finish by brushing melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted.
6. Serve immediately with pickles, ranch, or any favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
