Hey guys! I’m adopting this boy cat from someone in my area. I’ve never had a cat before so I’m not sure what to expect.

-How much of a can do I feed?

-How do I take care of him when he gets spayed?

Also, your vet office will give you pre and post op instructions for his neutering. Honestly, boy cat neuters are a simple procedure.

Bring the food that the other person has and keep feeding him that food for now because a cat stomach will get upset very easily if the food is changed. Later, you could slowly transition him to a different food, maybe something your veterinarian suggest, but stay with the food he has now.
