In addition to what I’ve shared about my passions and goals, I want to dive deeper into how these interests shape my daily life and future aspirations. Studying to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant is incredibly fulfilling because it aligns with my dream of helping children grow and overcome challenges. Every day, I learn new techniques and gain insight into child development, which motivates me to keep progressing academically and practically. Being an avid reader and writer not only fuels my imagination but also helps me understand the world from diverse perspectives. For instance, I recently started reading 'Maus' by Art Spiegelman, a powerful graphic novel that explores historical trauma through innovative storytelling. This reading experience has inspired me to enhance my writing project, 'Le Between Villages,' where I blend personal reflections with fiction. Baking is another creative outlet I cherish. Experimenting with recipes like my chocolate pecan banana bread with caramel drizzle allows me to unwind and express creativity tangibly. I’ve found that baking isn’t just about following recipes but about innovation and the joy of sharing treats with others. Sketching plants and nature has become a calming practice that helps me maintain focus and mindfulness amid a busy study schedule. These moments of creativity refresh my energy and keep me grounded. My plan to move to New York City soon is fueled by my love for urban life and the endless opportunities the city offers. Visiting twice already made me fall in love with its vibrancy and diversity. I’m eager to immerse myself in a new environment that supports growth both personally and professionally. Additionally, learning American Sign Language (ASL) and Korean is broadening my communication skills and cultural awareness. This linguistic journey has been challenging yet rewarding, and I believe it will enrich my ability to connect with people from different backgrounds in my future career and daily life. Documenting this new chapter is exciting because it reflects my growth and embraces all these facets of who I am. I hope that by sharing my experiences and passions, I can inspire others to pursue their dreams while staying true to themselves.
