Self-Care Sundays 🫶
✨so this is the most critical part of my self care routine on Sundays! Like a lot of others I have co-occurring mental health diagnoses because one of the hardest parts of bpd is that it's not treatable with pharmaceutical interventions and as we move further and further along together I will make you understand that just because it can't be treated with meds doesn't mean it's not treatable but my other diagnosis is treated with medication so it's so much easier during the week to have all my meds prepared out for each day and each time I'm supposed to take them! This works for me but maybe you don't mind juggling multiple pill bottles first thing after rolling outta the bed it's all about what works for you when it comes to mental health. What are your thoughts? Do you use a medication organizer? What about medication reminders? Do you ever forget your meds? I do both and STILL commonly forget my meds!! Highly recommended is this pill box has slots for 4 times a day AND BONUS a slot for PRNS or "extras" never found a pill box that had this prior❣️✨

Self-care is an essential practice that can have a profound impact on our mental health. For those managing mental health diagnoses, it becomes even more critical. One effective strategy is to set up a medication organizer, which simplifies the process of managing prescriptions, especially for individuals who take multiple medications. This not only helps to ensure medications are taken on time but can also reduce the stress associated with remembering pill schedules. Additionally, establishing a Sunday self-care routine can set a positive tone for the week ahead. Activities such as journaling, meditative practices, and gentle exercise can contribute to a greater sense of balance in life. Creating space for reflection can help individuals reconnect with their mental health goals, making adjustments as needed to promote wellness. Don’t forget to celebrate progress, no matter how small, and consider exploring relaxation tools like essential oils or calming teas. Incorporating these practices into your Sundays might just transform your approach to mental and physical health, making each week more manageable.
