HELP THIS LOWKEY SUCKS
You're definitely not alone if your Genshin Impact game with Wanderer sometimes feels like a 'flop'! I totally get it – that 'HELP THIS LOWKEY SUCKS' feeling is incredibly real when your favorite character isn't performing how you hoped. It can be super frustrating when you've invested so much time and resources, only to feel like something's just not quite right. From my own experience and chatting with other players, I’ve found a few common culprits that can make your Wanderer feel underwhelming. One of the biggest areas is often artifact farming. Getting the right set, like Desert Pavilion Chronicle or a strong 2-piece Anemo/ATK% combo, with good substats (Crit Rate, Crit Damage, ATK%, Energy Recharge) is a monumental task. I remember spending weeks in domains, only to get flat HP or DEF stats on pieces that almost rolled perfectly. It’s enough to make anyone want to scream! Balancing Crit Rate and Crit Damage, aiming for at least a 1:2 ratio, while also ensuring enough ATK% can be a real headache. Another crucial aspect is team composition. Wanderer, as a hypercarry, really shines when surrounded by the right supports. My game changed dramatically once I properly built a C2+ Faruzan (C6 is a game-changer if you have her!). Her Anemo RES shred and Anemo DMG bonus are indispensable. Pairing them with a strong ATK buffer like Bennett and a shielder like Zhongli or Layla for interruption resistance and survivability makes a world of difference. Without these key supports, Wanderer's damage can truly feel like it's missing something vital. I even saw a comment from a fellow player, Yuki, who mentioned how frustrating artifact farming can be for Wanderer, and how much a well-built Faruzan changed their gameplay. Weapon choice also plays a significant role. While his signature weapon, Tulaytullah's Remembrance, is best-in-slot, not everyone has it. Alternatives like The Widsith (R5 is fantastic!), Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, or even the craftable Dodoco Tales (if you have it) can work, but they might require different rotations or artifact stat priorities. Sometimes, simply swapping out a weapon or trying a new artifact combination can breathe new life into your build. Don't give up if your Wanderer feels like a flop right now! Genshin Impact is all about continuous improvement and tweaking. Keep grinding those domains, experiment with different team setups, and watch some guides. Most importantly, remember to have fun. Sometimes, taking a break from intense farming and just enjoying the game helps too. What are your biggest struggles with Wanderer, and have you found any tips or tricks that helped you turn things around?
