At the end of summer
This year, my second son is an examinee, so I went to a cram school. Even if I am at home, I work hard to study while fighting sleep in my room.

Every summer with my second son, we often made various shaved ice and ate it together, but this year we didn't do it.

The second son ordered kiwi yogurt 🥝! It was refreshing and the scent of yogurt was delicious 😋

今年の夏は次男くんの受験勉強が最優先で、なかなか親子でゆっくり過ごす時間が取れませんでした。勉強の疲れから眠気に襲われる日々が続いていましたが、それでも親子で夏の風物詩であるかき氷を楽しむように心がけました。 普段は家で手作りすることも多かったかき氷ですが、今年は久しぶりに専門店へ足を運びました。値段に驚きつつも、練乳のまろやかな甘さが氷全体に染み渡り、ふわふわのエスプーマ苺ソースの酸味と果肉の食感が絶妙で、まさに非日常の贅沢感を味わうことができました。次男くんはキウイヨーグルト味を選び、こちらも爽やかで夏の暑さを心地よくリセットしてくれました。 こうした親子の何気ない時間が、受験で緊張が続く日々の中での大きな心の癒やしになったと感じています。高校三年生になっても一緒に外出してくれるのはありがたいことで、かき氷を食べている間も次男くんの笑顔がたくさん見られて嬉しかったです。 また、家に帰ると元気にすくすく育っているペットのゆきみくんがスヤスヤと寝ており、体重も5.5kgと立派に成長しています。家族の一員として癒やしと楽しさを日々与えてくれており、子どもとペットとの時間が私たちの夏の大切な思い出となりました。 受験勉強に疲れたお子さんを持つ方へ、時にはこうした息抜きの時間を作ってあげることが、リフレッシュだけでなくモチベーション維持にもつながるのではないかと思います。夏の終わり、親子の絆を深めるひとときをぜひ大切にしてください。
