Beach Essentials for my 11 month old

Here are just a few things we brought to the beach for my 11 month old.

I would say the number one used item was the kiddy pool. I definitely have a water bug on my hands and the kiddy pool kept her from crawling into the ocean every 5 secs haha!

The beach blanket was great, we all used it to lounge on under the canopy!

Of course we brought all the other usual things like sunscreen, water diapers, snacks and water for her☺️

From personal experience, one of the best items to bring is an inflatable kiddy pool. It not only provides a contained and safe water play area for your little one but also keeps them entertained and away from the ocean’s waves, which can be unpredictable at times. Another essential is a large beach blanket. It creates a comfortable spot for napping, playing, or simply relaxing under a shade canopy. Bringing a canopy is key to protecting your baby from harmful UV rays during longer beach stays. Sun protection cannot be overstressed: a wide-brimmed sun hat, baby-safe sunscreen, and a life jacket are critical items. The sun hat helps shield your infant’s delicate skin and eyes. Sunscreen specialized for babies ensures skin safety against sunburn. And a life jacket offers peace of mind when around water. Also, water diapers are a lifesaver at the beach, preventing messes while allowing your baby to splash freely. Always pack plenty of snacks and fresh water to keep your baby hydrated and fueled throughout your beach day. Don’t forget some sand toys to keep your little one engaged and exploring. Combining these essentials will make your outing smooth, enjoyable, and safe. Planning well means creating beautiful memories with your baby while keeping their comfort and safety at the forefront.
