Lemon 🍋 8 diary day 3
What is something you did today that you’re proud of?
It may sound a little silly, but I’m proud that I got up and right away. Made my daughter breakfast after that we went outside and just explored for an hour and a half and it was just a really good morning overall
After the birth of my daughter, I suffered some pretty bad postpartum and after like 16 months, I feel like I’m finally starting to get back to myself, but I definitely still have hard days. Today was a day that I didn’t want to get out of bed. My husband was here to wake up with her, so I got to lay in bed for a little longer than usual And maybe that’s what made it so hard to get out.
Despite struggling, I want to make sure my daughter has a good childhood she loves going outside and exploring so even though we didn’t actually go anywhere I know that it was good for her. She’s relaxed now and got a lot of energy out and I can tellshe’s feeling happy and content. Now onto lunch!
PS I made this crochet bag and it was my first tapestry pattern. I had a mess up grid before this that turned out a little silly, but I kept it and I tried again and I love the outcome. This is one of my most used bags for sure.

It's essential to balance personal challenges with the joy of parenting. Exploring different activities like crochet can also be therapeutic and allow for creative expression. Crocheting not only creates useful items but can enhance focus and relaxation during tough times. Many parents find solace in crafts, where the process itself becomes a journey of rediscovery. If you're also navigating motherhood or looking for therapeutic hobbies, consider joining communities that focus on parenting or crafting to share experiences and tips. Explore ideas to combine playtime with learning, such as nature walks where you can identify plants or watch for birds, which can make the outdoors feel like an adventure.
