DO NOT BUY!!!!

As someone who has always been passionate about fragrances, I thought trying Sand+Fog’s Eau de Parfum oils would be an exciting experience. Unfortunately, my personal encounter with their vanilla, strawberry, amber, and cedarwood scents was quite disappointing. What stood out most was the unusually strong, unpleasant odor that I simply couldn’t get past, which is surprising given the brand’s popularity in the fragrance community. One thing I noticed is that these fragrances have a very heavy and synthetic smell that doesn’t evolve gracefully on the skin over time. Typically, with quality perfumes, compositions lead to a pleasant dry-down phase, but here it felt flat and even irritating after just a few hours. I also compared these scents to others I own, and the contrast in freshness, projection, and longevity was clear. If you’re looking for subtle, elegant, or long-lasting perfumes, there might be better alternatives available on the market. For others considering Sand+Fog fragrances, my advice is to test samples thoroughly before committing to a full bottle. Everyone’s skin chemistry and scent preferences differ, but my experience suggests caution. It’s important to seek out reviews and personal testimonials to avoid dissatisfaction. Lastly, part of the joy of perfumes is how they make you feel and how others perceive your scent. Unfortunately, Sand+Fog’s offerings in this line did not resonate positively with me or my friends.
