Let’s retire these.
Let’s retire these. Pee yew…
Thank you!
As someone who’s always been passionate about fragrances, I’ve learned that our preferences can change a lot over time. The phrase "Let’s retire these" really resonates when it comes to perfumes like Versace Bright Crystal Absolu and certain SACE MALONE scents, which, despite their initial popularity, might not fit my evolving style anymore. Personally, I found that while Bright Crystal Absolu offers a fresh and floral aroma, it can sometimes feel too common or overpowering after a while. It’s often described as a sweet and slightly musky scent, which doesn’t always align with my mood or the seasons. Similarly, some fragrances under the SACE MALONE name have felt a bit heavy or synthetic to my nose, making me appreciate lighter or more nuanced options instead. Retiring fragrances isn’t about waste; it’s about curating what truly makes you feel confident and comfortable. This experience led me to explore other perfumers and niche brands that focus on complex, layered scents. For example, I’ve started enjoying perfumes that blend natural floral, citrus, and woody notes in unexpected ways—offering a fresh take that feels more personal and unique. If you feel like your current favorites no longer spark joy, consider experimenting with samples before investing in full bottles. Sometimes, switching from a strong, sweet perfume to something more subtle or earthy can really transform your fragrance wardrobe. Remember, your scent should be an extension of your personality, and it’s perfectly fine to retire some classics to make way for new olfactory discoveries. I hope this perspective encourages others to rethink their fragrance collection and find scents that truly resonate and uplift daily life.

Just because you over wore yours doesn’t mean others have to “retire” theirs. It may smell wonderful on an other lady. I’m sick and tired of everyone smelling like gourmand vanilla and caramel and their strong smelling Arabian perfumes that knock the breath out of me when they walk by with their oud. YOU retire what you want to retire and let others retire what and when their wish to retire. 💥
