How to layer your scents🌸 (Longer-lasting results)
Hi loves! Here's a list of how I layer my scents for longer lasting results🌸
• You need to make sure your scents are similar to each other or they work well together - unscented is always the best way to go if you don't have any products that will match together with your body fragrances
• The key to smell good ALL DAY starts in the shower🚿 - your skin needs that fresh feeling in order for the layers to stay on your body
• Now, think about what you wanna smell like today. Do I wanna smell like a bakery? Flowery scented vibes? Woodsy? Beachy? Sexy? - Start with what you wanna smell like and then go from there with your product choices
❗️The pictures are not in exact order, but here's the list of how I usually do it below❗️
1. Body Scrubs/Exfoliating
2. Bar Soaps
3. Body Wash or Shower Gel
4. Body Butter, Body cream, Lotion (which ever is your preference)
5. Body Oils
6. Body Sprays/Mists
7. Perfumes

When it comes to layering scents for all-day wear, the importance of choosing products that complement each other cannot be overstated. Start your fragrance journey in the shower with body washes and exfoliating scrubs that have scent profiles aligned with your desired fragrance. Brands like Dove and Tree Hut offer body washes that not only cleanse but also hydrate your skin, paving the way for better scent retention. After your shower, apply body lotions and butters immediately to lock in moisture. Opt for products that have a similar scent to your perfume — this foundational layer helps the fragrance cling to your skin throughout the day. Brands like Sol de Janeiro and Shea Moisture are highly recommended for their rich, aromatic formulations that further nourish the skin while leaving a wonderful scent. Next, consider adding a body oil for an extra layer of fragrance. Oils can enhance the longevity of your scent as they help to trap other fragrances. Look for lightweight oils that absorb quickly into the skin. After this, spritz on a body spray or mist before applying your signature perfume to create a multi-layered fragrance that evolves beautifully. Finally, always consider your mood and the occasion when choosing your final perfume. Whether you aim for a light floral scent or something more intense and warm, your fragrance choice should resonate with your personal style and the impression you wish to convey. By following these layering techniques, you will not only smell delightful but also enjoy the confidence that comes from having a lasting scent all day long.
