Vrammmmmm on Neutral

We have all done that

1/24 Edited to

... Read moreAs a rider, I've definitely experienced the cringe-worthy moment when your bike unexpectedly revs up while still in neutral — what the mini-comic calls the "Accidental Rev of Shame." It’s something that almost every motorcyclist has done at least once, often right at the red light when all you want to do is stay calm and collected. This instant spike in RPM, despite being harmless, tends to trigger a rush of embarrassment and that feeling of being watched by nearby drivers or pedestrians. What makes this moment so relatable is the sudden loss of control over your bike’s engine sounds, which can feel like a "betrayal of neutral," as the comic humorously puts it. It’s funny how the calm before the go — often called "Red Light Mode" — can quickly turn into a heightened state of anxiety, especially when you hear the loud "Vrammmmmm" that everyone around seems to notice. From my own experience, I found that the best way to manage this awkward situation is to mentally prepare for it. Understanding that this accidental rev is common and not catastrophic helps reduce the anxiety. Practicing gentle clutch control and being mindful of your throttle when stopped can also minimize the chance of a sudden rev. Plus, having a friendly "professional save" mindset — quick control recovery and continuing smoothly once the light turns green — can help maintain your confidence and dignity. Every rider’s journey includes these humorous and slightly embarrassing moments, and sharing our stories helps normalize them. It reminds us all that being a motorcyclist involves learning to handle the unexpected smoothly. So, if you ever find yourself with an uncontrolled rev at a red light, just remember: you’re not alone, and it’s simply a rite of passage for us all!

The Dark Neutral I’d Keep
If I had to pick one everyday bag, this would be a strong contender. I love how this kind of black doesn’t feel harsh—it’s softer, more wearable, and somehow goes with every mood. Casual days, work looks, dinner outfits… it just fits without needing much thought. #BlackBagMood #MinimalStyle
