A few days in London
Here’s some things I really enjoyed in London on my last visit💕
1:: taking a boat ride down the Thames River..this was so beautiful and it was a great way to see more of the city. There are many options, depending on what you are looking for you can even book a teatime or dinner cruise. We simply took the Uber boat just to see the city.. A perfect way to hop on and hop off as well!
2:: visit the National Gallery..sooo many iconic paintings and treasures ..this is a must ..it’s also free!
3:: Tea Time..definitely one of my favorite moments and a Truely British way to start the day.. I loved my experience at the Shagri-La , however there are so many unique tea experiences everywhere throughout the city.
4:: Gods own junkyard- if you appreciate unique experiences then this is a great place to visit. It is a collection of unique neon signs, and it Truely is a piece of art..another free experience as well! When you are finished looking you can enjoy some unique food or delicious drinks from breweries and restaurants right next to it!
5:: tour the Cosmic house-another out of the box day adventure, take a tour through the iconic home designed by Charles Jencks and Terry Farrel. The design of this home contains so many gems and sacred geometry… nestled in Kensington and Chelsea.
6:: Visit Holland park..after discovering this park , I just don’t know why I didn’t know about it..such a peaceful beautiful place that even has a restaurant, Japanese garden , and some live performances. This a perfect picnic or reading spot ✨
7:: have breakfast in Notting Hill before walking the neighborhood. Kuro is so delicious.. definitely make a reservation if you want a specific time because this area does get quite busy.
8:: if you want to take trip away from the city ..take a train to the Cotswolds. We stayed at Stow on wold and it was a perfect charming area. I would recommend to either book transportation in advance , or rent a car so you can travel between villages. Burton on the water was one of my favorite areas..they even have an entire place dedicated to birds called Birdland✨ i also loved the tea and breakfast in chipping campden. 🌸stay a couple of days and relax!
✨✨✨
