Amsterdam is such a charming city with so many things to eat, explore, and see. What I love the most is that it is such a walkable (or bikeable city)! Here’s some noteworthy things worth exploring on your next visit:

🚲 Rent a bike and explore the city! -The city is truly set up for people to bike everywhere bike at your own risk because people go very fast, I will admit I almost got hit by one a few times😂

🏫 visit the Rijks museum- if you love ancient art and artifacts, this is the place for you! With works by Dutch masters such as Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Vermeer, you could truly spend a few hours here.

🛍️ Go shopping! -there are so many cute shops from designer to unique boutiques, you have so many options! Also, if you can catch a street market that is always so fun. I stumbled upon one and it had bins and bins of clothing for 1 euro! 💶

🚤 - take an evening boat cruise- this was one of my favorite things I did! Such a fun way to see the city and at night everything is so beautiful. They have several options , the one we chose had a tour included which was an excellent way to see the city and learn about the history as well.

🥞 have some Dutch pancakes! Ok, these were soooo delicious! I may have to catch a flight just to have them again! Also, the pancake club is a must! It’s situated right by the water and is the perfect city watching spot ✨

🚶 walk the streets! Honestly, walking and exploring alone is so fun! There is a park in the middle of the city I would highly recommend- vondel park- walk through there for a beautiful nature walk ✨

🎶see a show! We saw Japanese breakfast and it was such a treat ! The energy of the concert hall was awesome and it was a nice addition to the night ✨

🧇 treat yourself to an infamous stropwafel- this is a perfect after dinner treat because it is light and yet so delicous✨
