On June 26, 2023, the day of my engagement, my partner planned a breathtaking surprise that began with a sunset horseback ride on a private island in Myrtle Beach, SC. The anticipation built as we enjoyed a delightful day at Barefoot Landing prior. During our walk, I captured moments on video, blissfully unaware of the proposal to come. As we rode along the beach, I felt a surge of excitement, connecting with the majestic horses and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Little did I know, this horseback ride was not just a belated birthday gift but the precursor to a life-changing moment. After we dismounted for photos, my partner led me to the perfect spot where he proposed, and I was completely taken by surprise. This magical evening marked not only the beginning of our engagement but also the start of our wedding planning, with our special day set for May 2024. Every detail of that day holds a treasured place in my heart, from the sunsets to the happiness of starting our journey together. It’s a reminder that love truly is an adventure filled with unforgettable moments.
