Copycat Starbucks pink drink 🍓🥥
Okay, so like many of you, I'm absolutely obsessed with the Starbucks Pink Drink! But seriously, buying one every day adds up. That's why I went on a mission to create the ultimate homemade dupe, and guess what? I nailed it! Making your own Pink Drink at home is surprisingly simple and so much cheaper. You'll need just a few key ingredients: strawberry acai base (you can find concentrates online or make your own with freeze-dried strawberries), coconut milk (the unsweetened kind works best for me), and fresh strawberries for garnish. Some recipes call for passion fruit tea, but I find the acai base gives it that authentic flavor. Here’s a super quick guide to making your own copycat Pink Drink: Fill your cup with ice. Pour in your strawberry acai base. I usually do about 1/3 of the cup, but adjust to your sweetness preference. Top with coconut milk. Adjust to your taste – I love mine creamy, so sometimes I add a little extra! Add sliced fresh strawberries. Stir and enjoy! Thinking about variations? If you're not a fan of coconut milk, you can totally use water, almond milk, or another plant-based milk for a slightly different, lighter texture. Or, if you don't have cranberry juice on hand for the acai base, you can often substitute with white grape juice or even just water if you're using a powder. For a 'natural pink drink,' try using real fruit purees and unsweetened juices. I even tried a 2-ingredient version once with just strawberry syrup and coconut milk – it was decent in a pinch, but nothing beats the full recipe! Sometimes I make a huge batch of the acai base concentrate, enough for like a 64 fl oz pitcher, so it's ready to go whenever I crave it. It saves so much time during the week. Trust me, once you try this copycat, you won't be going back to paying those Starbucks prices!
