山形市旅篭町に移転した『金魚』は、古民家の蔵造りを活かした落ち着いた雰囲気の中で食事が楽しめるスポットです。特に注目したいのが、毎月10日・20日・30日に開催されるランチタイムの特製カレーです。カレーは羊のすじ肉を贅沢に使い、スパイスの香りと旨味がしっかりと感じられる逸品。口に入れた瞬間、じんわりと広がるスパイスと肉の旨味が癖になります。 個人的にも何度か訪問しており、夜の居酒屋タイムもエビスビールと相性抜群でおすすめですが、ランチのカレーは格別です。古びた蔵の趣ある空間でゆったり過ごしながら味わえるのは、地域の食文化を身近に感じられる貴重な体験。周辺には文翔館や七日町御殿堰などの歴史スポットも多く、観光の途中で立ち寄るのにも便利です。 営業は17時から23時ですが、ランチ営業の日は11時30分から14時30分までなので、訪れる際は日時を確認するのがおすすめです。定休日は不定休ですが、毎月0のつく日にランチ営業があるので、スケジュールを合わせて足を運んでみてください。地元山形の食材を生かしたメニューも多く、グルメ好きはぜひチェックしたい店舗です。旅篭町の新たな名物となるであろう金魚の特製カレー、次の山形訪問の際にぜひ体験してみてください。
