Hey everyone! You know how much I love diving into the world of Pokémon art, and Floette is definitely one of my favorites to draw. Seeing all your interest in Floette's colors and different palettes has inspired me to share a bit more about these charming floral Pokémon! First off, did you know there are actually five official Floette forms? Each one holds a different colored flower: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, and the special White Flower Floette. It's so cool how they change based on the flower they're holding! My digital art piece here, as you can see from the close-up, features a beautiful white Floette character. I absolutely adore its elegant simplicity, highlighted with those subtle light green eyebrows, delicate light pink cheeks, and those captivating light gray eyes. I even set it against a light gray background to make those details pop! When I'm creating fan art like this, choosing the right color palette is super important. For this piece, I really wanted to capture a soft, dreamy vibe. That's why I leaned into a pastel color palette, which you can really see in the full illustration where Floette is holding its staff with a light purple flower. I often get asked how I pick my colors, and for this one, I actually laid out a palette of vertical stripes in shades of light green, light blue, light pink, off-white, light peach, light gray, and light purple.
