Sunshine and rainbows or JUMANJI ?!
Before I got pregnant, I thought the second trimester meant I’d be glowing, full of energy, and gently patting my bump while listening to classical music. Social media loves to romanticize the whole thing as this serene, magical journey.
But let’s be incredibly real for a second—because I feel like I was sold a lie. 😅
I’m halfway through mine, and it has been FAR from a Disney experience and more like surviving a game of Jumanji!
Why did nobody warn me that instead of feeling like a glowing goddess, I’d just feel like a human incubator who is constantly tired, perpetually sore, and emotionally volatile? I love this little life we are creating so much, but can we please stop pretending that growing a human is a walk in the park? It is hard, messy, uncomfortable work.
To any expecting mothers out there feeling guilty because you aren’t floating on a cloud of bliss every day: you are normal. Consider this your safe space. 💛
I'm officially in the 'not-so-magical' club. What’s the most unglamorous symptom you’ve dealt with so far? Let’s vent in the comments! 👇#pregnancyrealness #honestmotherhood #expectingmom #pregnancyjourney #growingahuman

Literally 😭 it’s not Pinteresty, it feels like I’ve had the flu for 7 months
