My TRASHION 2025 collection: PROPAGANDA📰❤️‍🔥

Propaganda-the dissemination of information, facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths, or lies to influence public opinion.

Inspired by Luke 12:2-3 “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.” Each piece is a proclamation that what has been hidden will be made known.

The concept❦:

The newspaper print signifies the relentless spread of deceit the lies around the world that fuel darkness. But the burning symbols remind us that the Truth will always prevail

The male/female narrative explores our complicity; holding onto falsehoods even as we long for freedom.

Read moreIn reflecting on the "PROPAGANDA" collection, I find its use of newspaper print as a fabric motif to be a profound commentary on how information—even when twisted—permeates our daily lives. As someone who has long been fascinated by the impact of media on public perception, I appreciate how this collection transforms these themes into wearable art. The burning symbols cleverly symbolize not only destruction but also the illumination that comes with unveiling hidden truths. From a personal standpoint, the male/female narrative resonates deeply. It underscores our internal conflict: while we often crave truth and freedom, we sometimes cling to comforting falsehoods. This duality is something I’ve witnessed in many conversations and social debates, where the line between fact and fiction blurs, influencing emotions and actions. The collection's foundation in Luke 12:2-3 adds a spiritual dimension emphasizing that nothing remains hidden forever. This reminds me of moments in my life when secrets or misunderstandings surfaced, ultimately leading to greater clarity and resolution. Wearing garments like these could spark meaningful conversations about propaganda’s role in society—the dangers of misinformation, but also the hope that truth will prevail. This makes the "PROPAGANDA" collection more than just couture; it's a wearable statement with a powerful message. It’s inspiring to see fashion used as a medium for social commentary, encouraging reflection on how we process and challenge the information we receive daily.
