Tall gurl friendly websites for my co-stallions!!

As a tall gurl who grew up in Africa, finding clothes and shoes that don’t look like it was passed down was a hassle and I honestly didn’t care if I didn’t have clothes, I can’t wear just anything, I have to love it to wear it.

By the time I was 16 my mom had to always make special order with the shoe lady that goes to italy for me & they were grandma shoes- I hated it. I only wore them during parties or Eid. I used to be so happy to find shoes that I like in my size, I would use my allowance to get it on the spot cos that doesn’t happen always. Discovering Asos- a brand that shipped to Nigeria changed everything for me.

This website is an online fashion marketplace based out of the UK- oneof my fav of all time. I have been shopping with asos way for over a decade now! So many brands sell on there (Topshop, Bershka, River Island & mostly 80% of your fav brands ) & you’ll discover even more brands!

What I love most about asos is there free return and all size inclusivity. You’ll get prices from cheap to expensive.

This is my go to site for shoes always, I look elsewhere if I don’t find here which is very rare especially with boots, they have sizes up to 15 on some. As a size 11, I have to wear size 12 boots to be comfortable so 👍

ZARA;

We all know zara obviously but as a tall gurl not all their pieces works for me. It’s included because if you go instore and take your time , you will find the most amazong styling pieces. I have the best tights and pants that are very long from Zara which is rare for tall girls. Until I outgrow them, they will forever be in closet.

JLUX LABEL;

This brand my friend introduced me to in 2018 when their prices was still way more affordable than it is now and the prices now are still decent honestly for the quality and the quality has always been top-tier . The quality is why I got hooked actually and I still have all my pieces from them. Their pants are tall girl friendly unless stated otherwise.

TOPSHOP;

Topshop for me is affordable and not affordable at the same time but for the quality, it’s decent enough. They have a tall line so yeah, I am always here. I have great styling pieces from them from clothes to shoes.

BOOHOO;

My cousin put me on boohoo when she was studying in London back in 2009, she would send me their pieces to sell in Nigeria. Their quality was not all that then, it was mostly hit or miss but cute pieces. Fast forward to couple years ago, they did a major rebrand and now have better quality. They are tall girl inclusive and affordable.
