Drawings I've done this past week (I cried today)
Sharing my art creations regularly has become an emotional journey that goes beyond just putting pencil to paper. This past week, I found myself deeply connected to a new fandom called Rockafire Explosion Acho, which inspired several vibrant pieces. Creating original characters like Han, Alan, Kevin, and exploring their relationships really helped me express complex emotions, including moments where I even cried over the art itself. One of the memorable highlights was developing two OCs who are dating, Alan and Kevin, allowing me to explore themes of connection and identity. Additionally, bringing in diverse characters such as Dook Larve, who identifies as asexual, reflects how art can be a perfect medium to discuss and represent different identities and stories that resonate with many. What strikes me most about this weekly art ritual is how it encourages vulnerability and growth. The titles I've given to some of these artworks, like "Dodk Lane" and "Beach B.," hint at the fictional worlds and stories I'm building. These characters are more than just drawings; they’re companions in my creative journey, each with a unique background and personality. If you’re an artist or simply someone who appreciates personal storytelling through art, I encourage you to dive into your emotions and fandom inspirations. Sometimes, embracing those feelings can lead to powerful creativity and heartfelt expression that connects not only to yourself but also to others. This week of drawing has reminded me that art is a nurturing process—both challenging and rewarding—and every line drawn can tell a story worth sharing.
