Hey everyone, I'm excited to share a few quirky and interesting facts about myself with you all!
I am a huge animal lover. I grew up trying to save every animal imaginable. Even brought home baby rattlesnakes I thought I discovered with my siblings. (Watched a lot of Steve Irwin growing up)
I started drawing at about 5/6. My dad taught me the basics but he told me it was up to me if I continued to grow my skill/craft. He wanted me to be creative, he thought rules ruined it. I ended up trying to learn more & am teaching myself to unlearn the rules I was taught in middle school, high school, and some college.
I didn’t start pursuing my art career until 2 years ago when I signed up for my towns art show at the State fair. “It Flies With The Last Breath” ended up getting Honorary Mention. That kick started my whole journey of what I wanted to create and who I wanted to become as an artist. A few.. interesting creative ideas, journal entries, sketch books ruined, I finally found an art collection I want to create.
Which I’m not sure I want to share the process of or wait until the last possible moments? If you read all of this, what would you suggest?
